Everything has calmed down in the sense that communication has ceased with the offending parties. Time heals all wounds they say and I am hopeful time will heal ours.
We are doing well here in Austin these days. "Finding our groove" so to speak. I can hear my son laughing in the room over - wait - was there a growl I just heard? Yes, that would be my husband bellowing to the puppy who just peed on the carpet. :)
I guess it is good practice for when we need to potty train Aiven.
On another note, Aiven is almost 16 months old. What activities are good for this age? Books? Games? I would love to hear your suggestions.

I'm so glad to hear things are calming down on the family front. That must be so stressful.
ReplyDeleteFor sixteen months old. . . trucks or cars that he can push around. Maybe a big car he can ride in (Cozy Coupe or Step2 Buggy). Something he can push around (stroller or shopping cart). My kids both LOVED a ball popper at this age.
I'm reading a book right now called Things to Do For Toddlers and Twos. I'm hoping it has some ideas (I'm still reading the intro about the psychology behind it all).
Avien is absolutely the most precious baby I've ever seen. I'm glad things are going well in Austin!
