Weekend Picture Update

This week was filled with trips to the playground, exploring the quiet roads on walks near the house, baking breads, farmer's markets, a castle and more animals.

I made my first vegan challah this week.  It was so yummy I made two more.  I also made an orange-cranberry-nut bread and a banana bread.  None of it lasted more than 24 hours after it came out of the oven.  I cannot keep up with how much my guys eat!

Aiven also went to Pepper's Bar with us for lunch (it is where Alex and I go for our weekly date night to hear great live Irish music).

We have committed to going for a walk every day.  The roads have no shoulder here and are very narrow so it is difficult to walk on a road where there may be cars.  We found a quiet, sleepy road behind the house.  It dead ends into two other homes, so there is almost no traffic.  It is a lovely walk and there are two of the most beautiful horses I have ever seen along the way.

The following are pictures from the rest of our adventures this week.

The playground.

Portumna Castle & Gardens.

Favorite sign of the week (There was a 6+ foot drop covered by brush they were trying to warn drivers about).

We almost rented one of these for a couple of weeks.  It is a gypsy wagon.  Check it out.
Till next week...
