I think I may have finally solved the baby carrier conundrum. What I really wanted was a BabyBjorn and an Ergo Baby combined into one carrier (Tastes great! Less filling!) so I could carry Aiven facing outward or inward. I also needed something that would work for a few months longer as Aiven continues to grow taller and gain weight.
Enter the Lilliebaby Carrier. I bought the sport edition since it is made of a breathable mesh that ought to be the cooler, wiser choice for summer. It’s also more compact and easier to travel with. Alex and I have both tried it out and give it four thumbs up! Amazingly, Alex took Aiven on a very long walk and came home without kvetching about a backache. But more importantly, Aiven loves his front-row seat to the greatest show on earth – New York City.
I am still going to use the Ergo. It is easier to wear when sitting down and it is warmer for cool evenings.
I am now the proud owner of 5 baby carriers (well, actually, 4. I sold one on eBay).
