Summer in......

I posted on FB that I was transitioning from Corporate America yesterday.  I thought I would update friends and family here as to what our plans are.

Alex and I have decided to move out of the city.  We are not sure exactly where we will land yet but Austin, TX looks like a strong possibility.

As you know, this has been a whirlwind couple of years for us.  That, coupled with the noise that comes from living in Manhattan, we feel a strong desire to go somewhere quiet for the summer.  To process, to clear our heads, to spend quality family time together, to read, to write, to think, to see the stars in the sky. 

We want to unplug.

At the moment, we are looking at going to Ireland for the summer.  We are trying to find a cottage in the country far away from everything.  (If anyone has any leads, please let me know)

So, there you have it.  Many changes, all exciting, some a little scary.  We love adventures though, so this suits us well.
