It seems everyone has an opinion. Even the bodega man who must be 70 and has no kids will offer up his opinion, some advice or something along those lines.
I have come to realize that there is a tremendous amount of information out there and that most, first time, expecting mothers either take in too much or too little. It can be overwhelming.
All of my friends have had children. I was one of the last. So, I have years of knowledge behind me from observing. How they got pregnant, how they gave birth and everything after.
They planned it, it was an accident, they had planned on pain meds, had no time for pain meds, didn't want pain meds, had them anyway, refused pain meds, long labors, short labors, had a back labor that lasted 20+ hours with no pain meds, induced, c-sectioned, home birthed, water birthed, birthing center birthed.
I guess I have something to say too.
